Summer School
Begins in June
Summer is right around the corner and it is time to start thinking about attending summer school. The district will host summer learning opportunities for students in grades PreK-8th grade and 9-12th grade. Below you will find some important information and more to follow at a later date.
Elementary Schools and Black Hawk Middle School will run from June 3rd through June 27th.
Times for PreK-8 will be 7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
First day of summer school is June 3th, 2013
Days- Monday through Thursday
Breakfast and lunch will be served at no cost to the students.
Location-
Elementary School will be held at Rebecca Boone Elementary
Black Hawk Middle School will be held at the High School

High School will run from May 29th through June 27th
Times for 9-12 will be 7:30 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.
Days- Monday through Thursday
Location- High School
Credit Recovery and PE will be offered.
Algebra 1- will be offered second semester only

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation for K- 8 will have modified stops. Please check back for more details. There WILL NOT be transportation for high school summer school.
LUNCH: There WILL be breakfast and lunch served at no cost to the students. (Students may also bring their lunch)
ATTENDANCE: High School attendance is very important during summer school; one day equals more than one week’s worth of work during the regular school year. In order to get credit for summer school, students can’t miss more than 1 day a semester or 2 total days for the entire summer school program.
